Although I can't do much active gardening anymore, I still enjoy watching the garden come to life in the spring and grow all summer long. I've learned a lot the past few years from Mrs. F.G., who is the horticulturalist! But there are still green leaves emerging in our garden just now that I'm not sure of. How about you? Here's a plant quiz to challenge you.
Tomorrow I will post the answers, at least as far as Mrs. F.G. and I label them.
No idea what they are but I like the fuzzy leaves on that one plant.

I have one of them "Autumn Joy" . . . Looks like Spring is spouting in your neck of the wood :)

ReplyDelete#1, Poppy, #2, Jacob's ladder, #3?, #4, Day lilies?,#5, Mullien if it has a smell, #6, Heuchera, #7. Lamb's Ears, or Stachys, #8 No idea, maybe too frosted, #9, Primula, #10, might be a sedum just popping up. I have had those except Mullein, but daughter grew it years ago in a warmer climate than she has now. Love a quiz, after Lovatt's Trivia this might have been a tad easier.
ReplyDeleteI think the first one is a Poppy, the kind with the big flamboyant red flowers. There's a Heuchera in the line -up., and a Sedum.
